MPVCC do not have performance awards for batting and bowling as the emphasis is on participation and giving every player a fair go. An annual award for Best Clubman was introduced in 2018 to recognise those who made an exceptional contribution to the club.

The award is simply named “The Hindle” to acknowledge the incredible contribution made by our first Life Members Laurie and Glenda Hindle.
